Yoga is offered on Sundays to members of RSCF and the community. With it being summer, classes are on the following Sundays listed below.  Come fall, we plan to have yoga every Sunday so stay tuned.  Yoga class is an additional cost and is $5 per person, so bring cash for the instructor and there is a 5 person minimum for each class.  Current members must register for class on Wodify and community members please email railsplittercrossfit@gmail.com if you plan to attend. If we do not get at least 5 signed up class will be canceled for that Sunday.

Maureen Faller has been practicing yoga for the last decade. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado before moving back to Springfield, Illinois in high school. She graduated from Indiana University with a BA in Political Science in 2009 and Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2012. She received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training from Yoga Alliance at Ahh Yoga in December of 2016. Maureen has been a member of Rail Splitter Crossfit since August of 2015.

She started practicing yoga in college with a vinyasa class at the recreation center. The physical practice of yoga became something she would with her mom. We would find different studios, different styles and festivals to attend. When she started her yoga practice she was drawn to the more physical practice such as vinyasa flow, power flow and Ashtanga. Over time she has found a passion for yin yoga and slowing her physical practice down to welcome more stillness and meditation. When you attend her classes expect to have fun, to be challenged and to find balance within your mind and body.

Other things she enjoys doing is spending time with her husband (John) and their two giant schnoodles Crash and Barley, going to Crossfit and reading. She is always learning and expanding her horizons with health, wellness, fun and balance.
